Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Contract Civil / Highways Design Engineer for London projects, with a fully remote option. The role offers a rate of £35-£40 per hour and an Outside IR35 engagement. You will design highways and development infrastructure and deliver detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Work on Section 278/38 schemes and coordinate with other disciplines to drive projects from design through approval while enjoying flexible, remote contract terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a civil engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of highways and development infrastructure design.

Location: London (fully remote option)

An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Senior Civil Engineer to join an established consultancy, supporting a range of highways and development infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer looking for a flexible, fully remote contract, with the engagement expected to be outside IR35.

The Role

• Delivering civil engineering design for highways and development infrastructure projects.
• Producing detailed designs for roads, drainage and associated infrastructure.
• Working on Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes.
• Preparing technical drawings and design information using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and supporting the delivery of projects from design through to approval.
