Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Automotive Test Engineer for a long-term contract in the Hinckley/Nuneaton area. The role focuses on planning and delivering automotive homologation and vehicle testing in a global R&D environment.

You will work with Senior Engineers to prepare test setups, run tests, analyze data, and report results, combining practical testing with engineering analysis and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Motorsport Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Experience in automotive test engineering, vehicle development, validation or R&D environments.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce clear and accurate technical reports.
• Hands-on approach to engineering.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of automotive homologation and type approval testing.
• Prepare and review test requirements and procedures.
• Prepare vehicles and test equipment for testing.
• Perform data quality checks and identify issues in results.
• Analyze test data to meet standards and specifications.
• Produce engineering test reports and documentation.
• Support vehicle and component testing in an R&D test facility.
• Conduct practical engineering and workshop activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete programs safely and on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and workshop compliance.
