Euro-projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Technician for a state-of-the-art R&D test facility in Hinckley. This 12-month PAYE contract offers hands-on testing preparation, setup and execution within a professional engineering team.

The role requires a practical, problem-solving mindset, good attendance to detail, and the ability to work safely with engineering equipment and data collection systems. Shift options and a competitive hourly rate apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in an engineering workshop, manufacturing environment, test facility, laboratory or similar.
• Good practical engineering skills and a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work safely and methodically with engineering equipment and machinery.
• Good basic computer skills and ability to use data collection systems.
• Experience with vehicles/automotive testing is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and setting up engineering test equipment and facilities.
• Supporting Engineers and Technicians with the execution of tests.
• Preparing and installing test instrumentation and associated equipment.
• Carrying out checks on test equipment and facilities prior to testing.
• Undertaking facility and test equipment maintenance before and after testing.
• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of engineering test facilities.
• Using computer-based data collection and test systems.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and equipment condition.
