Job summary

Head Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an experienced AI / Machine Learning Engineer Contractor in Glasgow on a hybrid basis. The initial contract is 3 months with the potential to extend, paying up to £500 per day Inside IR35.

The role focuses on accelerating delivery of innovative AI solutions across a Scottish Public Sector organisation, embedding within Data Engineering and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver intelligent, value-driving products and services.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in large public sector environments.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks experience.
• Ability to translate business problems into AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI and ML solutions for an AI Accelerator programme.
• Develop and optimise ML models, architectures and automation capabilities.
• Build and maintain AI pipelines, deployment and MLOps processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers and key stakeholders on high-value AI use cases.
• Implement responsible AI practices with governance, security, and privacy in mind.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend business-value solutions.
