Job summary

Etex in Bristol is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead Safety, Quality, and efficiency initiatives across our Bristol site. You will coach a team of Process and Quality Engineers and drive manufacturing excellence.

You will identify and deliver cost and energy reductions, manage trials, analyse data, and implement group manufacturing strategies while maintaining strict standards and a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, or Industrial Technology.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings.
• Proven track record in process improvement and cost reduction.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods.
• Understanding safety, quality and environmental standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process and Quality Engineering team to drive performance.
• Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Monitor process performance and production data for improvement opportunities.
• Manage process trials; plan, document, and evaluate activities.
• Support implementation of local and group manufacturing strategies.
• Maintain process standards, specifications, and documentation.
• Provide process expertise across the site to enable decision-making.
• Develop and deliver process training to build capability.
• Promote safety, quality, environmental compliance and continuous improvement.
