Job summary

Ifor Williams Trailers Ltd is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to identify, analyse, and deliver process improvements across multiple Welsh manufacturing sites. The role is office-based with local travel between sites and involves leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.

You will work closely with Site Leaders, Production, Quality, Engineering and Planning to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• CI/Manufacturing engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean; Six Sigma or similar.
• Experience with data analysis and time studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects across manufacturing and operations.
• Identify process inefficiencies using data analysis and root-cause techniques.
• Implement Lean principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and improvement workshops.
• Drive waste reduction across time, materials, and defects.
• Monitor KPIs and support performance improvement strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed best practices across sites.
• Standardise best practices across multiple sites.
• Support Quality and Operations teams in resolving issues.
• Report progress and savings to Senior Management.
