Job summary

Convatec Rhymney site is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement professional to lead the site CI programme and embed a culture of continuous improvement. You will empower teams using Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste and drive cost savings across the operations.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong data analysis and change-management skills, and the ability to coach and train others in improvement methodologies. Travel up to 20% within Europe is possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing implementing lean and Six Sigma.
• Proven experience driving culture change.
• Data analysis skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving expertise.
• Ability to train others in improvement skills.
• Ability to coach others to deliver improvements.
• Ability to engage and empower others.
• Proven ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Fluent PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; MS Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site CI programme and deliver annual strategy and plan.
• Coach Tier meetings and site escalation system.
• Develop Visual Management systems for quick decision making.
• Implement Lean principles: 5S, SMED, VSM, Poka Yoke, JIDOKA, 8W.
• Delivery of improvement projects with cost savings.
• Adherence to site change management and regulatory requirements.
• Support Quality at Source and 8D investigations.
• Lead Kaizen workshops across the site.
• Use data to identify performance gaps and trends.
• Collaborate with Convatec plants to share best practices.
• Take ownership of the project portfolio on site.
