Job description

Summary Job Description Continuous Improvement Consultant

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds, Hybrid working.

Join us as a Continuous Improvement Consultant! You'll play a key role in driving meaningful change that improves outcomes for both our customers and our business. Working closely with Business Product Owners and a wide range of stakeholders across the UK business, you'll lead the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives that align with our strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.

You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce waste and improve performance, while ensuring solutions are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality standards. As the owner of our UK Process Architecture framework, you'll ensure processes are clearly documented, regularly maintained and supported by effective controls and governance. You'll lead the review of end-to-end processes across multiple teams, embedding clear ownership and strong hand-offs, while using established methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to deliver sustainable improvements.

Just as importantly, you'll be an advocate for a culture of continuous improvement, building trusted relationships across teams including Customer Experience, Operations, Transformation, Analytics, Compliance, Learning & Development, Shared Services and our legal and recovery businesses, to secure engagement, gather insight and drive change that makes a real difference.

What we are looking for:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualified with proven experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong process mapping and process architecture expertise, with experience documenting processes to BPMN2 standards using tools such as Blueworks Live, Visio or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret process and data insights, identify root causes, and recommend effective improvements and controls.
  • Confident communicator and facilitator, experienced in planning and leading workshops, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and building alignment across teams.
  • Good understanding of risk and control frameworks, with the ability to identify control gaps and implement robust process controls.
  • Results-focused and highly adaptable, with strong attention to detail, a naturally inquisitive mindset, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-changing environment.
What you’ll get:
  • A discretionary annual bonus to reward your impact
  • 3% flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, whether that’s extra cash, more holiday, or added health cover.
  • Hybrid working for the best of both worlds—collaboration and focus.
  • Free onsite parking, saving you time and money.
  • Recharge and refresh opportunities with 28 days of holiday plus public holidays, and the option to buy up to five more—giving you more time for what matters most.
  • Peace of mind with life assurance that supports your loved ones, no matter what.
  • A culture that celebrates you and supports your wellbeing–with recognition awards, access to on-site gym facilities, and a variety of wellbeing initiatives offered throughout the year to help you stay balanced, resilient and feeling your best.
  • Encouragement to be your authentic self at work by joining one of our vibrant employee networks—like Rise (Gender), Proud (LGBTQIA+), Culture, or Spark (Neurodiversity & Disability) - and connect with a community that celebrates and supports you.
