Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking a Continental Shift Engineer in London to lead daily operation of M&E systems within a prestigious City of London building. You’ll be electrically or mechanically biased and oversee both planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, hands-on leadership, and experience with building services such as HVAC, BMS, pumps and motors. The position is permanent with a continental shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical or mechanical engineering background.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, BMS, pumps, motors and general building services.
• Experience in commercial office/high-rise, critical environment or similar.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Confident leading engineers and dealing with contractors.
• Good knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the building's M&E systems.

Continental Shift Engineer

Are you an Shift Engineer looking for your next challenge in one of London's most prestigious skyscrapers? We're looking for an Engineer to join a highly skilled facilities team within a landmark City of London building.

You will be either electrically or mechanically biased and have a strong all-round understanding of building services.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the building, ensuring critical engineering systems are maintained and issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.
