Job summary

B P Collins LLP in Gerrards Cross is seeking a Contested Probate Solicitor to expand our Dispute Resolution team. You will handle a range of wills, trusts, estates and personal representatives disputes, with a practical, client-focused approach.

You will work within the Contested Probate Team, advising on strategy, negotiations, mediation and litigation, while supporting related private client and property matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in contested probate, trusts and estate disputes.
• Good knowledge of civil litigation procedure.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload.
• Attention to drafting and file management.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on contested probate matters, including negotiation and litigation.
• Support colleagues on overlap with private client and property.
• Meet clients, assess facts, prepare correspondence and court documents.
• Instruct counsel where appropriate and progress matters toward settlement, mediation or trial.
