Job summary

Interpath is seeking an Assistant Manager in our Contentious Insolvency team to lead management of contentious insolvency projects, oversee investigations into antecedent transactions, and handle misfeasance or breach of duty claims.

The role involves analyzing complex financial data, preparing detailed reports and expert statements, and collaborating with legal teams and clients while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law preferable but not necessary.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPI or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in contentious insolvency or related financial investigations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a portfolio of contentious insolvency cases, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
• Analyze complex financial data to uncover issues and develop strategies for resolution.
• Prepare detailed reports, expert witness statements, and correspondence in support of cases.
• Collaborate with legal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to provide expert advice and support.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.
• Contribute to business development efforts by preparing pitches and participating in client meetings.
