Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading full-service law firm headquartered in London with offices internationally. Our client is seeking a Contentious Construction mid to senior level lawyer to join an ambitious and growing team of specialists.

The firm is well-established and highly reputable, with annual revenue exceeding £200m. It advises commercial clients across various sectors, with a particular focus on real estate developers, contractors, major engineering consultancies, and UHNWIs on high-value construction projects.

The firm is looking for an Associate to join the expanding Construction department, handling contentious matters such as adjudication, arbitration, and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court. The role also involves working closely with the non-contentious team to advise on project procurement, negotiation, contracting, and delivery.

As a mid to senior team member, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team, supervising junior members when necessary.

There is genuine career progression potential as the team grows, with encouragement to develop industry contacts.

The Candidate

• Associate Solicitor with at least 3+ years PQE
• Experience in real estate contentious construction matters within a leading practice
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Commercially aware with a keen interest in business development

• Strong legal and leadership skills with attention to detail
