The successful candidates will handle a range of contentious construction work, including claims related to time, cost, defects, and will provide strategic dispute avoidance advice. This is a unique chance to engage with complex, high-value projects across various sectors. Large commercial law firm in London seeks two contentious Construction lawyers – one of 1 to 4 and the other of 5 or more years’ PQE. The team advises a diverse client base across the construction and engineering sectors, including:
They are instructed on major development and infrastructure schemes, building remediation contracts, process plant and power generation projects, urban regeneration schemes and projects in the hotels and leisure, energy, transport, waste management, telecoms, water and utilities, process and power and rail sectors. They regularly act for clients in adjudication, Technology and Construction Court litigation, arbitration and mediation and other forms of ADR. They also provide a Project Counsel service to clients in connection with live projects.
