Job summary

Confidential in Leeds is seeking a Content Writer to craft engaging product descriptions and content across multiple channels. The role requires writing clear, persuasive copy that fits house style, plus collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to keep information current and compelling.

The role supports SEO-driven content, product listings, and marketing material, with opportunities to contribute across guides, videos, and email campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills including grammar, punctuation and syntax.
• Some knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and keyword research would be ideal.
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems / basic content uploading skills.
• Time management and efficiency to upload products at pace.
• An eye for detail to observe changes and update information.
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
• Excellent organisational skills to plan and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Listing and adding new products to the website using our in-house CMS.
• Writing engaging product copy to accompany listings.
• Editing/creating imagery and videos for products.
• Updating stock and liaising with sales on product information.
• Managing existing products to keep information up-to-date.
• Supporting wider marketing with SEO content for digital strategy.
• Creating blog/magazine content including guides, videos, and visuals.
• Assisting campaigns with email marketing and social media content.
