About the role
As ourContent Writer,you’ll play a vital role in accelerating the growth of ClassBento’s marketplace by producing engaging, search-optimised content that highlights our diverse range of creative experiences.
Responsibilities
Class production
- Manage the approval of new teachers on the platform to ensure our marketplace is high-quality within SLAs.
- Create teacher profiles and class listings on ClassBento.
- Write and edit engaging high-quality class listings optimised for SEO and conversion.
- Collaborate cross-team to source missing essential information and provide feedback for teachers on class improvement opportunities.
- Use keyword research tools such as Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs to identify high-priority keywords and strategically incorporate them into class listings.
- Report to your direct manager insights, challenges, and improvement opportunities for the class production workflow.
- Use AI platforms (i.e. ChatGPT), to streamline writing production and experiment with new prompts for content creation.
- Collaborate with the global content teams to improve class production processes to help global scale
SEO Content:
- Create unique SEO-friendly copy and high-quality long-form content showcasing our thousands of classes across cooking, arts, and crafts.
- Be responsible for integrating AI models like ChatGPT into your writing process.
- Self-edit written content and provide peer-to-peer feedback on creative content to ensure accuracy, readability, and adherence to brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
- Use SEO tools such as Ahrefs and Google Keyword Planner to inform how you write and optimise content.
- Be open to leading new priority content projects from ideation to execution.
- Interview and engage with our community of makers to produce community content.
- Engage with community reviews to strengthen local SEO and brand presence.
- Contribute to content planning and ideation sessions, generating fresh ideas to enrich our content offering
- And importantly, deliver all written content according to project deadlines.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degreein Journalism, Communications, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experiencein a relevant role.
- Conscientious and detail-oriented:You care deeply about the quality of what you produce and have a keen eye for grammar and accuracy to maintain high standards.
- SEO knowledge:You possess foundational knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, SEO analysis tools, and Google Analytics.
- Tech-savvy mindset:You’re comfortable learning new tools, including CMS platforms, AI tools like ChatGPT and workflow tools like Asana.
- Organised and efficient:You’re skilled at managing workflows, meeting deadlines and juggling multiple priorities effectively.
- Problem solver:You approach challenges with creativity and a solution-focused attitude.
- Team player:You thrive in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
