Job Title: Content Operations Assistant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Content Operations Assistant to serve as the Special Assistant to our Senior Manager, supporting content production, team management, and platform operations. This is a growth-oriented role designed to fast-track your development, with the potential to become a Content Manager within 1-2 years.

As a company committed to nurturing talent, we provide visa sponsorship for outstanding employees. This role is PSW-friendly, and candidates with a Post-Study Work visa are encouraged to apply. After completing one year, eligible employees can transition to a long-term work visa to secure their future career in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Content Planning and Scheduling:
    - Collaborate with the Senior Manager to track daily trends on platforms such as Twitter, TikTok, Weibo, and Xiaohongshu, identifying opportunities for content creation.
    - Assist in creating daily and weekly content schedules and assigning tasks to the remote content team.
    - Ensure timely publishing of trending content and respond quickly to emerging topics.
  2. Quality Assurance and Publishing:
    - Review articles for headline effectiveness, logical flow, formatting, and visual appeal to meet quality standards.
    - Provide initial feedback and suggestions for improvement on draft content.
    - Create and publish articles directly in the website backend, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.
  3. Trend Analysis and Resource Management:
    - Monitor trending topics and propose creative content ideas.
    - Maintain and update a content resource library, including templates, images, and trend reports, to support team efficiency.
  4. Data Analysis and Optimisation:
    - Analyse content performance metrics such as traffic, click-through rates, and user engagement, and provide actionable insights to the Senior Manager.
    - Track task completion and performance of remote content creators to ensure productivity.
  5. Community Engagement and User Interaction:
    - Manage community operations on platforms such as social media, WeChat groups, and forums to boost user engagement.
    - Plan and execute online activities to enhance community participation and content reach.
    - Gather and analyse user feedback to optimise user experience.
  6. Website Maintenance and Customer Support:
    - Perform routine website backend operations and maintenance to ensure functionality.
    - Handle basic customer inquiries and provide solutions or escalate issues as needed.
    - Update and manage website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  7. Team Coordination and Collaboration:
    - Assist the Senior Manager in overseeing the remote content team, including onboarding, task allocation, and supervision.
    - Act as a communication link between the Senior Manager and the team to streamline workflows and ensure goal alignment.

  • Detail-Oriented and Responsible: High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in content editing, operations, or community management.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Weibo, and Xiaohongshu.
  • Prior experience working with remote teams or in a support role is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Base Salary: £24,000–£28,000 per year.
  • Performance Bonus: Up to £3,000 annually, based on individual and team contributions.
  • Meal Allowance: £15/day (for office days).
  • Visa Sponsorship: Eligible employees can apply for a long-term work visa after one year of employment.
  • Promotion Path: High performers can advance to a Content Manager role within 1-2 years, taking on greater responsibilities in team leadership and strategy.
