Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist (Pensions and Investment)

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Edinburgh, Alderley Edge or London

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

A newly created position is available for a Content Marketing Specialist with experience in pensions and investments-related content marketing planning and delivery. The role involves building the investment content strategy and executing content plans to support the Brand & Marketing strategy and trading objectives.

The responsibilities include creating compelling content in various formats, collaborating with marketing teams for deployment, and measuring content effectiveness. The role also involves working closely with other business areas, including Royal London Asset Management, to repurpose relevant content.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in content marketing, preferably within financial services.

About the role
  • Plan, develop, and deliver investment content supporting marketing plans using appropriate formats and media.
  • Ensure content activities support new business targets and strategic objectives, including brand building.
  • Manage ongoing content planning and delivery, identifying relevant themes for adviser, customer, and employer audiences.
  • Use data and insights for testing, learning, and optimizing content.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Identify and manage internal and external content support resources, including agencies and freelancers.
  • Work with other business units to identify opportunities and develop compelling messages and content.
About you
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience in a similar role or journalistic background.
  • Experience creating content for various formats and audiences, including promotional and thought leadership content.
  • Good knowledge of pensions and investments, with ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations related to content.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent worker who can start quickly.
