Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious individual to work within the team during a transformative phase for the company.

IN SHORT

The Content Marketing Executive plays a vital role in driving SEFE Energy’s marketing efforts through compelling and commercially driven content across multiple channels. This role is primarily focused on the UK business, with the potential to support across other markets when required. From events and social media to customer communications, website updates, sales presentations, blogs, and white papers, this role is critical in enhancing brand visibility and supporting the entire sales funnel—from lead generation to customer conversion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious individual to work within a collaborative team during a transformative phase for the company.

Please note, this is a 12 months fixed term contract position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Content Creation and Planning

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to support the UK marketing strategy and annual events and communications plan.
  • Produce high-impact content across multiple formats: blog posts, white papers, case studies, explainer videos, sales collateral, presentations and more.
  • Work alongside external agencies to ensure content is delivered on time, on brand and aligned with strategic objectives.

Social Media and Digital Channels

  • Create and manage engaging social media content across platforms to elevate brand awareness and reputation.
  • Draft and publish website content, ensuring consistent messaging and SEO optimisation.
  • Plan and implement email marketing campaigns to support product launches, upselling efforts, customer retention and brand engagement.

Performance and Reporting

  • Working with the Marketing Analyst - Set and track KPI's for all communications and content activities.

Cross-functional Support

  • Support internal communications and Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) initiatives.
  • Assist in building and optimising customer journey communications and touchpoints.

Compliance

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including Data Protection, Equal Opportunities, and Health & Safety.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • Degree or qualification in Marketing, Communication or Journalism.
  • Proven copywriting and editing excellence.
  • Strong background in content and email marketing campaigns.
  • Hands on experience with social media marketing.
  • Experience of collaborating with external agencies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-pace, dynamic environment.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with PR and media relations.
  • Understanding of the energy industry or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CMS platforms.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
  • Basic financial literacy.

Skills and Competencies

  • Creative thinking with a commercial focus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Campaign planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of Email Marketing Systems and Social Media Scheduling Tools.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design and layout tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe).
  • Team player with a proactive, hands on approach.
