Tallow+Ash is a modern UK brand reimagining laundry with luxury, performance and sustainability at its core. We’re looking for a Content Creator to develop, film and edit engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube and more, working closely with the founders and the wider creative team.

You’ll turn everyday moments into videos people want to watch, write strong hooks and captions, and help grow the brand with energetic, camera-friendly storytelling.

• Help develop a recognisable, engaging brand personality across social media.
• Appear on camera when needed and capture behind‑the‑scenes moments to keep the brand alive.

Job description

We’re looking for a brilliant Content Creator to help us build Tallow+Ash into one of the most exciting modern brands in the UK and change the laundry aisle for good.

You’ll work closely with the founders and wider creative team to develop, film and edit engaging content across Marketing, Product and Brand. From entertaining social videos and product demonstrations to paid ads, launches and behind-the-scenes storytelling, you’ll help make Tallow+Ash impossible to ignore.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling. You’ll be full of ideas, comfortable creating content quickly and able to turn everyday moments into videos people genuinely want to watch. You’ll also be happy appearing on camera when needed and bringing energy and personality to the brand.

The role will be based at Tallow+Ash HQ, with flexibility for remote editing and planning where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creating content people want to watch

• Develop, film and edit engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube and other relevant platforms
• Create content that entertains, educates, inspires and introduces more people to Tallow+Ash
• Produce a consistent volume of high-quality content while moving quickly from idea to execution
• Write strong hooks, scripts, captions and calls to action that capture attention immediately

2. Bringing personality to the brand

• Help develop a recognisable and engaging personality for Tallow+Ash across social media
• Appear in content where appropriate and feel confident speaking naturally on camera
• Capture the people, ideas and behind-the-scenes moments that make the business interesting
• Find creative ways to make laundry, fragrance and everyday life feel entertaining and relevant

3. Supporting campaigns and product launches

• Create content for new product launches, seasonal moments, promotions and wider brand campaigns
• Turn larger campaign ideas into a range of social-first videos and supporting content
• Produce product demonstrations, comparisons, reactions, tutorials and educational content
• Capture additional footage during shoots, events and launches to maximise every opportunity

4. Responding quickly to trends and opportunities

• Stay close to emerging formats, sounds, conversations and platform trends
• Identify which trends suit Tallow+Ash and adapt them in a way that feels original and true to the brand
• React quickly to cultural moments, customer conversations and unexpected content opportunities
• Experiment with new concepts, formats and styles to discover what performs best

5. Collaborating with the creative and marketing teams

• Work closely with creative strategists, videographers, graphic designers and the wider marketing team
• Turn creative briefs and commercial priorities into content that feels natural and engaging
• Contribute ideas during creative planning and content-development sessions
• Work with creators, customers, founders and team members to produce varied and authentic content

6. Learning from performance

• Review content performance to understand what is capturing attention and driving action
• Use insights from organic and paid performance to improve future content
• Create variations of successful ideas with different hooks, formats and executions
• Build repeatable content formats that can become recognisable parts of the Tallow+Ash brand

Developed with UK chemists and master perfumers, our range includes laundry shampoos, conditioners, fabric sprays and stain removers, all free from dyes, phosphates and microplastics.
