Job summary

We Manage Jobs(WMJobs) is seeking a Communications & Marketing Officer - Content Creation to join our Communications team. You will craft engaging content for residents, stakeholders and partners across channels, support campaigns and events, and respond to media enquiries.

The role involves gathering content on-site, drafting media releases and scheduling social media while analysing engagement data to improve future communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in content creation, media relations, social media communications and/or visual design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office, web platforms and content creation/editing software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content.
• Strong relationship-building skills and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and accessible content for digital and traditional platforms (social media, websites, press releases, videos, internal comms).
• Support campaigns and events and respond to media enquiries.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure high-quality communications.
• Attend community events to gather content and draft media releases.
• Schedule social media campaigns and analyse engagement data to improve future communications.
