Job summary

People Solutions are seeking Container Unloaders in Crick, Northamptonshire, offering ongoing work with various shift patterns and weekly pay. You will be part of a busy warehouse team with opportunities to develop within the role and gain industry-related training and ongoing support.

Roles include AM, PM, and Night shifts with immediate starts and paid overtime. Excellent hourly rates apply, and on-site parking is available for staff members.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading shipping containers and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of stock and materials throughout your shift.
• Supporting goods-in operations and unloading deliveries.
• Moving products to designated warehouse locations.
• Wrapping, labelling, and preparing pallets for storage or dispatch.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company standards.

Container Unloader - Heavy Lifting - Crick, Northamptonshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Container Unloaders to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday or Sunday Thursday working , ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to develop within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Container Unloader, Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Loader, Loader & Unloader, Goods In Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Parcel Sorter, or Loading Bay Operative.

Shifts:

• AM: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00
• PM: Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00
• Nights: Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00

Rates of Pay

• AM £13.08 per hour
• PM £14.38 per hour
• Night £15.70 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Container Unloader, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Loading and unloading shipping containers and vehicles safely and efficiently
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of stock and materials throughout your shift

• Moving products to designated warehouse locations
• Wrapping, labelling, and preparing pallets for storage or dispatch

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A basic level of spoken and written English
• A reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A good level of physical fitness due to regular heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• The ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Container Unloader, Loader, Goods In Operative, or Warehouse Assistant would be advantageous, although full training is provided
