Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for Container Unloaders to join our client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This role offers weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and good long-term progression within a busy warehouse environment.

Duties include loading and unloading lorries and shipping containers, heavy lifting up to 30kg, and supporting goods-in operations. Shift times are 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday with weekend work available.

Container Unloader - Heavy Lifting

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Container Unloaders to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and genuine long-term progression within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Container Unloader, Warehouse Loader, Loader & Unloader, Warehouse Operative, Goods In Operative, or Warehouse Assistant.

Shifts

• Week day shifts and weekend work available Monday to Friday / Saturday and Sunday
• 0800am - 1700pm

Rates of Pay

• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Container Unloader, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading lorries and shipping containers
• Heavy lifting of stock and materials up to 30kg
• Supporting goods-in operations
• Carrying out stock control tasks
• Wrapping and preparing pallets
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful for this role, you will need:

• A basic level of spoken and written English
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good communication skills
• A good level of physical fitness due to the heavy lifting involved
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced warehouse environment

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
• Previous container unloading experience would be beneficial
