Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Consumer Lending Officer to join our Credit & Collections team.

You will conduct high-quality credit assessments for new and upgrading owners, reviewing contracts for accuracy and compliance, and supporting the end-to-end ownership journey while maintaining responsible lending practices. You’ll analyze financial documentation, verify income and expenses, and communicate with customers by phone, email, and SMS to obtain missing information.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient application processing and positive customer outcomes.
• Identify potential compliance concerns and escape issues when required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems.
• Support quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role plays a critical part in supporting our vacation ownership business by conducting quality credit assessments, reviewing loan applications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with Sales, Sales Administration, and Consumer Finance teams to help customers complete their ownership journey while maintaining responsible lending practices.

• Previous customer service experience and the ability to build rapport with customers professionally and confidently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• The ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and performance targets.
