An exceptional opportunity awaits a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at a leading NHS foundation trust in Sheffield. We are looking to appoint a Whole time Consultant Vascular Surgeon to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Northern General Hospital.
We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers.
Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.

Main duties of the job
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of outpatient clinics, inpatient and day case operating lists, and attendance at MDTs and ward rounds.
The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the national Consultant Contract.
Opportunities are available for a successful candidate with appropriate training and experience to help develop the endovascular service from vascular surgery perspective in partnership with existing vascular surgeons, and in collaboration with the Vascular Radiologists.
