Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust seeks a Consultant Radiologist with a major interest in Cardiothoracic imaging to join a team expanding TLHC reporting and CTCA workload.
The post involves thoracic and cardiac imaging, including CT guided biopsies, MDT participation, and potential CMR reporting. A dynamic department supports training through the Portsmouth Radiology Training Scheme.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our team of 44 Consultants, as a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Cardiothoracic Imaging.
This new post has arisen through the expansion of the TLHC programme and increasing CTCA and CMR workload. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in TLHC reporting, thoracic reporting, CT guided biopsies and cardiac CTCA. The applicant will be expected to provide acute general and sub speciality imaging. The ability to report CMR is desirable but not essential. We are a dynamic and innovative department. Portsmouth is host to the Portsmouth training scheme, providing training to 20 Specialist Registrars.

Subspecialty interest in cardiothoracic imaging, to participate in all aspects of thoracic and cardiac imaging, Lung cancer heath check service, plain film imaging, imaging guided biopsies and cardiothoracic MDTs and meetings. Experience in cardiac MRI is desirable.
