Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Cardiothoracic Imaging to join our team of 44 Consultants. The post will contribute to TLHC reporting, thoracic reporting, CT guided biopsies and cardiac CTCA, with an expectation to provide acute general and sub specialty imaging.

CMR reporting is desirable but not essential. We are a dynamic department affiliated with a leading training scheme hosted at Portsmouth, offering extensive opportunities

Job description

This new post has arisen through the expansion of the TLHC programme and increasing CTCA and CMR workload. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in TLHC reporting, thoracic reporting, CT guided biopsies and cardiac CTCA. The applicant will be expected to provide acute general and sub speciality imaging. The ability to report CMR is desirable but not essential. We are a dynamic and innovative department. Portsmouth is host to the Portsmouth training scheme, providing training to 20 Specialist Registrars.
