Job summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant Radiologist. The role supports Radiology work across four sites—Salford, Oldham, Rochdale and Bury—with base at the Royal Oldham Hospital. The post includes on‑call duties (1 in 25) and MDT participation.

The successful candidate will contribute to general diagnostic radiology, supervise junior staff, and take part in department management and record-keeping. UK NHS registration is assumed.

Qualifications

• Experience reporting cross-sectional imaging.
• Ability to perform ultrasound lists independently.

Responsibilities

• Radiology reporting of cross-sectional imaging, ultrasound lists, fluoroscopy lists and MDT attendance.
• Contribute to on-call service (1 in 25 rota) across four sites.
• Supervise junior colleagues and provide guidance as needed.
