Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Consultant Radiologist to join the Royal Oldham Hospital team, with potential GI, GU and/or lung subspecialty interests. The role includes reporting cross-sectional imaging, ultrasound lists, fluoroscopy, and MDT participation, with a 1 in 25 on-call rota across Salford, Oldham, Rochdale, and Bury.

The post holder will supervise junior staff, contribute to departmental management, and uphold high standards of clinical governance and infection

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a valid license to practise.
• FRCR or equivalent and eligibility for Specialist Register-CCT within 6 months.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and engagement with audit.

Responsibilities

• Radiology reporting of cross-sectional imaging, ultrasound lists, and fluoroscopy.
• MDT attendance and participation in departmental meetings; on-call rota 1 in 25.
• Supervise junior colleagues and provide teaching and training support.
