About Eleanor:

Eleanor Hospital, a modern healthcare facility near Didsbury Village and Withington, specializes in care for female adults under 65 with personality disorders. We provide a comprehensive pathway of treatment with innovative amenities such as a cinema, Equipod, café, and virtual reality fitness centre, aiming to empower patients in their rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert clinical care and consultation for patients with personality disorders, with or without comorbid diagnoses.
  2. Undertake Responsible Clinician duties as defined under the Mental Health Act.
  3. Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care plan development.
  4. Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
  6. Participate in teaching and training for junior staff.
  7. Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and regulations.
  9. Participate in the on-call rota.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Medical degree and full GMC registration.
  2. CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent.
  3. Approved Clinician status and eligibility for Responsible Clinician role.
  4. Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment and treatment.
  5. Leadership and team-working skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Commitment to professional development.
