A reputable mental health trust in Greater London is seeking a part-time Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist to join the Richmond Crisis Home Treatment Team. The role involves providing acute assessments and short-term treatment for adults at risk of hospital admission. You will deliver care primarily in patients’ homes and have clinical leadership responsibilities. This is a part time 0.6WTE Consultant Psychiatrist for the Richmond Crisis Home Treatment Team. The vacancy has arisen due to the current postholder moving on to non‑NHS roles. The role is an established post.
The team typically has a caseload of 30–40 clients receiving home treatment. Clinical duties will be carried out at service users’ homes and at the health centre. The team base will shift from Queen Mary's Hospital (until mid 2026) to Livingston House (mid 2026 to Sep 2026) and finally to Barnes Hospital (from end Sep 2026).
