Join to apply for the Consultant Psychiatrist in Liaison Psychiatry role at Louder Than Words.

We are seeking an outstanding Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatric Liaison Team at University Hospitals Plymouth. The ideal candidate will have dual accreditation in Liaison Psychiatry and Older Adults or substantial experience in OPMH, either as a senior grade doctor or within a training program.

The Liaison Team supports patients aged 18 and above and collaborates with various specialist teams for comprehensive care.

Appointment will be on a new Consultant contract, with a salary range of pro rata £105,504 to £139,882 for ten Programmed Activities (PAs), depending on experience and negotiation.

Main Duties

• Provide expert medical advice to the team and primary care colleagues.
• Supervise trainees and participate in teaching and academic meetings.
• Contribute to service development, risk management, and pathway coordination.

Additional Details

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice and inclusion on the Specialist Register in Psychiatry.
