Position: Consultant in Addictions (Remote, Argyll and Bute)
Details: Up to 8 programmed activities (32 hours per week), fixed term for 12 months
Overview: This role focuses on developing services for individuals with problematic drug and/or alcohol use, working with a dedicated team providing high-quality care aligned with medication-assisted treatment standards.
Team and Collaboration: The Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service comprises nurses, social workers, and support staff working in collaboration with local GPs to deliver comprehensive care. The post involves providing specialist advice, support to GPs, supervision to non-medical prescribers and advanced nurse practitioners, and participating in teaching and support for inpatient and liaison services.
Requirements: Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register with a Licence to Practice or within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.
