Job summary
We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic individual to join our supportive and dynamic Paediatric team, committed to delivering excellent patient care. Applications are invited for the position of Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Oncology.
The successful candidate will join a team of paediatricians and neonatologists providing Child Health services to a local population of approximately 300,000 children. The Trust is a designated POSCU level 1 centre (Enhanced Level A for Autumn 2026), with over 35 new cancer patients annually.
The consultant medical team operates across Queen's Hospital, Romford, and King George Hospital, Ilford, supporting junior medical staff in delivering patient care across all settings.

New state-of-the-art theatres at KGH and Community Diagnostic Centres at Barking Hospital and St George's Wellbeing Hub will enhance our diagnostic capacity. We plan to introduce an electronic patient record system next year, improving access and care coordination across our hospitals.
