Job summary

The Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with an interest in Orthoplastic Surgery. The post focuses on microsurgical reconstruction and limb/breast reconstruction within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Microsurgical fellowship and higher degree are required.
• GMC Specialist Register entry within 6 months is expected (AAC).
• Experience in major lower limb reconstruction and oncoplastic breast reconstruction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clinical activity log.
• Support academic interests and develop the academic portfolio of the department.
• Teach regional programmes, mentor trainees and undergraduates.
