Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Consultant in Otolaryngology with a sub-speciality interest in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. This 10 PA post delivers 8.5 PAs for ENT clinical work and 1.5 SPA, based at the ENT Department, Leeds General Infirmary and Wharfedale General Hospital.

The successful applicant should be FRCS ORL HNS (or equivalent) and on the Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT).

Job description

The successful applicant should possess FRCS ORL HNS (or equivalent) and should be included on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, if currently within a training programme within the UK. In accordance with the consultant appointment regulations, all other categories of doctors must be on the Specialist Register. Applicants should have established skills in Otolaryngology and its related specialties. A strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and a research interest is desirable. Consideration will be given to applicants who wish to work full or part time and those wishing to job share.
