We are looking to appoint to a Consultant in Emergency Radiology with interest in musculoskeletal imaging to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.
We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will primarily specialise in emergency radiology at the Northern General Hospital. The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues, be responsible for the provision of acute CT and ultrasound cover for emergency department patients and inpatients. They will also contribute to reporting in their chosen subspecialty which may include MSK, GI, Chest or other subspecialties depending on previous training. In addition, the successful candidate will be a required to contribute to the general radiology workload at the Northern General Hospital. They will be part of the on call rota at the Northern General Hospital, which may become a cross site on call rota in future.
The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team in order to provide a high quality, comprehensive emergency radiology service within this teaching hospital environment.
