Qualifications

• Applicants must have full GMC registration and entry on the Specialist Register.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Haematology is essential.
• Teaching experience for junior medical staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Haematology services at the Pilgrim Hospital.
• Participate in clinical governance programs and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Engage in teaching of medical staff and participate in audits.

Skills

Extensive experience and training in general clinical haematology

Experience in clinical research and audit

Understanding of clinical governance

Experience of undergraduate/postgraduate training

Education

MRCP (UK) or equivalent / FRCPath or equivalent

Full GMC Registration

Entry on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council

Higher degree (MD, PhD or equivalent)
