Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for locum Consultant Haematology roles across the UK. The position in York offers a £100 per hour rate, ASAP start date, and duties including outpatient work, MDT attendance, lab work, ward/acute cover and on-call shifts.

The role requires GMC registration, right to work in the UK, and ongoing DBS/PVG checks. Medacs provides dedicated support, compliance and rapid onboarding for NHS placements.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• A current DBS check or PVG check - or willingness to undergo one as part of registration.
• UK Right to Work.
• CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months of achieving it).

Responsibilities

• Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff.
• Contributing to service development and audits.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• CCT in Haematology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
