Consultant Geriatrician (Acute) - 10 PA

Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group, is seeking a full-time Consultant Geriatrician to join our Older People's Services (OPS) team based at Whipps Cross Hospital.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, develop new models of working, and enhance services supporting older people both at the hospital and in the community. Whipps Cross Hospital serves a population with high frailty levels and is being developed within the Barts Health Group to become a centre for Geriatric Medicine.

Key responsibilities include participating in reshaping acute frailty services and contributing to the departmental 5-year strategy plan. The post offers the chance to work with a motivated multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care and meet the needs of an expanding older population. It also forms part of the redevelopment of Geriatric Medicine at Whipps Cross University Hospital, providing a unique opportunity to collaborate on hospital redevelopment projects.
