Qualifications

• Experience working within ecological consultancy
• Protected species surveys, mitigation and licensing
• Understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), ecological assessment and planning
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in Wolverhampton or within commutable distance of the office

Responsibilities

• Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and ecological impact assessments
• Protected species surveys, mitigation and licensing
• BNG assessments and monitoring
• Habitat and botanical surveys
• Ecological management plans and construction-related ecological support
• Ecological Clerk of Works duties where required
• Supporting clients through planning and development projects
