Job summary

Ipsos in the UK is seeking a Consultant / Senior Research Executive with extensive experience in delivering qualitative and quantitative research projects. The role centers on applying behavioural science approaches in energy and environment policy, with opportunities to contribute to advisory projects across a broad research portfolio.

You will work across energy and environment themes, using COM-B, EAST, TDF and APEASE frameworks to inform policy development, communications and practice.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality qualitative and quantitative methods research projects.
• Apply qualitative research methods including in-depth interviews, focus groups, deliberative engagement, and qualitative analysis.
• Apply behavioural science approaches and frameworks (COM-B, EAST, TDF, APEASE).
• Conduct literature reviews, rapid evidence assessments and evidence synthesis projects.
• Manage projects or workstreams within larger projects.
• Draft discussion guides, interview guides, evidence review protocols and other research materials.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development and proposal writing.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of high-quality qualitative and quantitative research projects with research design input.
• Application of qualitative methods across interviews, focus groups and deliberative engagement.
• Apply behavioural science frameworks to understand and influence behaviour change.
• Conduct literature reviews and rapid evidence assessments.
• Manage project workstreams and client-facing outputs.
• Draft reports and client presentations.
• Lead proposals and contribute to business development.
