Job summary

Qualifications

• Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent.
• Experience in technician/workshop/construction support role.
• Experience using construction machinery, tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive, flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and setup of practical construction teaching sessions.
• Prepare materials, tools, machinery, and equipment for practical classes.
• Support students undertaking practical activities under teaching staff guidance.
• Maintain construction workshops and facilities to a high standard.
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance of construction tools and equipment.
• Complete administrative processes: stock control, asset registers, statutory records.
• Promote a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
