Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Construction Workshop Supervisor to join the team at Stephenson College. The role focuses on supervising practical workshops, ensuring safe practice and high-quality delivery of learner outcomes.

You will work in a hands-on environment, coordinating materials, managing risk assessments, and supporting instructors and apprentices to complete their assessments successfully. A Level 2 construction qualification and recent industry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 construction subject or equivalent.
• Recent experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of the sector and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety in the workshop for students using equipment and tools.
• Review and complete annual risk assessments including COSHH.
• Organise safe storage of materials/equipment and maintain workshop cleanliness.
• Ensure materials are available for practical lessons and support apprentices in end point assessments.
