Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is working with a Further Education college in Loughborough to recruit a Workshop Supervisor (Construction) for the construction workshop. This on-site, full-time contract runs until Christmas with an immediate start, paying £30-£45 per hour.

Qualifications

Experience in a Further Education (FE) setting (essential).
Hands-on experience with construction tasks / workshop environments (essential).
Strong understanding of health & safety in a practical training setting.
Confident supporting learners in a workshop environment.
Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Supervise the construction workshop on a daily basis.
Work alongside the Lecturer to support practical delivery and learner progress.
Support students with the safe use of tools, equipment and materials.
Maintain high standards of health & safety, risk awareness and safe working practices.
Help with workshop set‑up, equipment checks, stock control and general organisation.
Full‑time, on‑site in Loughborough | Immediate start | Contract until Christmas.
