WCG is seeking a Workshop Manager in Construction to lead the construction workshop, ensuring a safe, well-equipped learning environment and high-quality support for study programmes. The role involves safety leadership, asset management, and practical assistance during sessions.

Applicants should have a Level 2 construction qualification and vocational experience with a proactive approach to safeguarding and first aid responsibilities.

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a Level 2 construction qualification and have a background in the industry.
• Experience in managing vocational workshop environments and health and safety compliance is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of safety checks and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Health, safety and compliance leadership, including risk assessments and SOPs.
• Resource and asset management, including tool sign-out and stock control.
• Maintenance and technical support, preparing materials and ensuring clean, hazard-free workspaces.
