Chubb in the United Kingdom seeks a Construction Underwriter to manage underwriting income and portfolio growth within Contractors All Risks. You will ensure capacity deployment aligns with guidelines and appetite while maintaining underwriting integrity.

You will build and sustain relationships with brokers and clients, targeting profitable growth and portfolio quality while adhering to policies and controls across the business.

Formación

• Experience in CAR/Construction underwriting and risk selection.
• Knowledge of risk exposures, pricing and coverage.
• Experience dealing with brokers and clients across tiers.
• Self-driven with ability to work independently.
• Committed to ongoing technical and business skills development.
• ACII preferred, but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite new business or renewals per guidelines and budget.
• Assist in portfolio strategy, forecasts and profitability reviews.
• Prioritize product development to improve retention and new business.
• Represent Chubb to brokers and clients, supporting acquisition and cross-selling.
• Ensure policy documentation, quotes, and compliance meet standards.
• Maintain contact with internal teams and major clients.
