Job summary

Strong Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Manager for residential construction projects across Croydon and Surrey, including loft conversions and home renovations. You will oversee multiple projects from start to finish, coordinating trades and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential construction projects from start to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage project programmes and day-to-day site activities.
• Liaise directly with clients and provide regular project updates.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Work closely with the office/build team to coordinate materials, skips and other site requirements.
• Resolve site issues and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Carry out final inspections and project handovers.

Site Supervisor / Manager- Residential Construction

Location: South Croydon / Croydon & Surrey
Salary: £50,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a well-established residential construction company specialising in loft conversions and home renovation projects.

Working across Croydon and Surrey, you will oversee multiple residential projects from start through to completion, coordinating trades and subcontractors while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential construction projects from start to completion
• Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors and suppliers
• Manage project programmes and day-to-day site activities
• Liaise directly with clients and provide regular project updates
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and health & safety requirements
• Work closely with the office/build team to coordinate materials, skips and other site requirements
• Resolve site issues and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Carry out final inspections and project handovers

The Ideal Candidate

You will have previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager or Project Manager within residential construction. Experience with loft conversions, extensions, refurbishments or home renovations would be particularly advantageous.

A good understanding of UK Building Regulations and health & safety is required, along with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS or NVQ Construction Site Management would be beneficial, and candidates from a trade background such as carpentry or bricklaying are also encouraged to apply.
