Job description

Main Accountabilities:

1. Site planning: Plans on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including necessary local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinates agreements between customers and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policy.
2. Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline, from receiving the site area to handover, ensuring successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations: Acts as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, safety, environment (HSE), and project security: Ensures a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promotes health and safety considerations, ensures proper training, and is empowered to suspend activities in case of HSE violations.
5. Equipment and logistics: Ensures correct handling, storage, and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage and shipment logistics for timely delivery.
6. Sub-contractors: Manages on-site sub-contractors hired by ABB to meet quality and progress standards.
7. Site cost management: Monitors project costs, manages petty cash, and has delegated authority for local purchasing within limits.
8. Documentation: Maintains and updates documentation, ensuring use of latest revisions for construction work.
9. People leadership and development: Organizes, staffs, and guides the team, conducts performance reviews, and coordinates local logistics and facilities.
