Join a high-end West End law firm known for its work within the London property sector, as well as boasting multiple Legal 500 departments. Our client offers modern office space situated near multiple tube stations in the heart of the West End. The multi-service firm covers all areas of property law, corporate and commercial, litigation, family and private client.

Position Overview:

My client is seeking a Construction solicitor of 2-5 years PQE, with experience working on a variety of construction matters in both non-contentious and contentious matters. Assisting senior solicitors and/or managing your own caseload of complex non-contentious and contentious construction matters. You’ll be working with several leading contractors, investors and developers advising on all forms of construction and engineering contracts, procurement strategies, and risk management, supporting dispute avoidance and early-stage mitigation. Offer strategic advice at project inception, including contract structuring, procurement routes, and the use of construction securities like warranties, bonds, and guarantees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and assist on a varied caseload of construction law matters
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients.
• Prepare and draft legal documents.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s profile in the construction sector.

Qualifications + Experience:

• At least 1-years PQE Qualified Solicitor within construction law
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
