Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a Welfare Operative to join a busy construction site in Abbots Langley. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining welfare facilities, stocking supplies, and supporting the site team with safety and cleanliness throughout the day.

The role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or with others. Own PPE is expected and a CSCS card may be required depending on site needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning, welfare, or site-based role.
• Construction site experience is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.
• Own PPE.
• Valid CSCS Card may be required depending on site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining site welfare facilities, including toilets, canteens, drying rooms, and offices.
• Ensuring welfare areas are kept clean, tidy, and fully stocked.
• Cleaning kitchen and dining areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or shortages to the site team.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
